Benjamin Lack

Benjamin Lack studied conducting, horn and music pedagogy at the School of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart and the University for Music in Vienna. While still studying, he conducted the chamber orchestras of Stuttgart, Mannheim and Pforzheim as well as the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra. He was a scholarship holder of the conductors' forum of the German Council of Music and took part in several master classes with eminent conductors and orchestras, among them Mariss Jansons and Kurt Masur. Benjamin Lack is Kapellmeister at the Church of St Nicholas in Feldkirch and teaches vocal music at the music school in Feldkirch. He is conductor of the Bregenz Festival Choir and the symphony orchestra of Vorarlberg Conservatory, Feldkirch. In addition he is music director of the Feldkirch Chamber Choir. Benjamin Lack teaches at the Stuttgart School of Music and is artistic director of the Brahms Choir, Stuttgart.
