Benjamin Lack
Rehearsal director of the Bregenz Festival Chorus
Benjamin Lack is choral director at the Church of St. Nikolaus in Feldkirch and conductor of the symphony orchestra of Vorarlberg Conservatory. He is also artistic director of the Bregenz Festival Chorus, the Feldkirch Chamber Choir and the Brahms Choir Stuttgart. In addition he teaches orchestral and ensemble conducting at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart and at Vorarlberg Conservatory. Benjamin Lack studied conducting and horn-playing at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts under Thomas Hauschild, Dieter Kurz, Helmuth Wolf and Per Borin, and at the University of Music in Vienna under Marc Stringer. He was a scholarship holder of the conductors' forum of the German Council of Music. He took part in several masterclasses with highly reputed conductors and orchestras such as Mariss Jansons in Vienna and Kurt Masur with the Beethovenhalle Orchestra, Bonn. His wide repertoire ranges from spiritual choral music to symphonic music and from the classical to the modern period.
