Christopher Moulds

Conductor

Christopher Moulds has conducted Il Ritorno d’Ulisse in Patria, La Calisto, Alcina, Orlando and Ariodante for the Bavarian State Opera. At the Salzburg Festival he has conducted La Clemenza di Tito with the Vienna Philharmonic and the operas Hercules and Samson with Concerto Cologne at De Nederlandse Opera. With the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin he has conducted performances of Dido and Aeneas. At the Royal Albert Hall he has conducted Madame Butterfly, Tosca and Aida. He has also conducted at English National Opera, Cologne Opera, Komische Oper and Berlin State Opera as well as at the Bregenz Festival and in Halle. He has worked with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Camerata Salzburg and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. Gluck's l'Innocenza Giustificata features among his recordings. In recent seasons he has conducted Don Giovanni at Opera Lyon, The Magic Flute at the Bolshoi Theatre, Moscow, Die Entführung aus dem Serail at Berlin State Opera and Bach's Magnificat in a ballet production at Zurich Opera House, as well as concerts with Concerto Cologne, Akademie für Alte Musik and the Musica Viva chamber orchestra.
