Scott Zielinski lives in New York and has designed the lighting for theatre, dance and opera productions around the world. In New York he has worked on shows on Broadway, at the Lincoln Center, The Public Theatre and a number of others. His lighting designs have been seen in many cities of the USA. Beyond the USA he has worked on productions at the Adelaide Festival, De Nederlande Opera, the Festival d’Avignon, the In Transit festival (Berlin), the Edinburgh Festival, the Fukuoka Art Museum, the Göteborg Festival, the St. Georg Summer Theatre (Hamburg), the New Vision Arts Festival (Hong Kong), iDans (Istanbul), Linz Provincial Theatre, English National Opera, the Institute of Contemporary Arts, the Lyric Theatre Hammersmith, the Royal Court Theatre, the Royal National Theatre (all in London), at the Biennale de la Danse (Lyon), the Arts Centre in Melbourne, the Centre Dramatique National in Orleans, the Dansens Hus (Oslo and Stockholm), the Canada Dance Festival (Ottawa), the Centre National de la Danse, the Theatre Gennevilliers (Paris), the National Theatre of Iceland (Reykjavik), Rotterdamse Schouwberg (Rotterdam), the Singapore Arts Festival, TheatreWorks (Singapore), the Stuttgart Ballet, the Luminato Festival (Toronto), the National Ballet of Canada, the Canadian Opera Company, the Schauspielhaus and the Tanzquartier in Vienna, Lithuanian National Opera (Vilnius), the Neumarkt Theatre and the Spektakel Theatre of Zurich. After studying Theatre Design, Scott Zielinski completed a Masters in Fine Arts at the Yale University School of Drama.
